Help Vaishnavi raise money

Hi everyone, 

I am participating in the 2022 Illinois Marathon Race Weekend on April 28-30th. This race is a special event for me because it will be my first half-marathon. I have decided to run as part of Crisis Nursery's Miles for Smiles Team. 

Crisis Nursery creates an "Island of Safety" dedicated to the prevention of child abuse and neglect by providing 24-hour emergency care for children and support to strengthen families in crisis. Since 1984, the Nursery has provided a safe haven for children 7 days a week, 365 days a year. 

I have joined the Illinois Marathon Miles for Smiles Team to help Crisis Nursery meet its fundraising goal of $15,000 -- enough to support one week of emergency child care. Would you consider making a donation and helping me reach my personal fundraising goal of $ 1,000?  

In the fiscal year 2021, Crisis Nursery provided much-needed care for the most vulnerable in our community. They had 2,485 admissions and staff conducted 782 home visits. Your donation to Miles for Smiles helps fund these programs and ensures Crisis Nursery can continue to provide critical emergency assistance to families in Champaign County who have nowhere else to turn.
